git-stripspace − Filter out empty lines
git stripspace [−s | −−strip−comments] < <stream>
Remove multiple empty lines, and empty lines at beginning and end.
−s, −−strip−comments
In addition to empty lines, also strip lines starting with #.
<stream>
Byte stream to act on.
