pvremove − remove a physical volume
pvremove [−d|−−debug] [−f[f]|−−force [−−force]] [−h|−−help] [−t|−−test] [−v[v]|−−verbose [−−verbose]] [−y|−−yes] PhysicalVolume [PhysicalVolume...]
pvremove wipes the label on a device so that LVM will no longer recognise it as a physical volume.
