TANH

tanh, tanhf, tanhl − hyperbolic tangent function

double tanh(double x);
float tanhf(float x);
long double tanhl(long double x);

Link with −lm.

The tanh() function returns the hyperbolic tangent of x, which is defined mathematically as sinh(x) / cosh(x).
