memos − Read or Write Memopad entries to STDOUT or files.
memos [−p <port>] [−V] [options]
memos is used to read your Palm Memos database and read/write the entries to STDOUT, or to individual files on disk, in a directory you specify, one memo per file in that named directory.
−p, −−port <port>
Use device file <port> to communicate with the Palm handheld. If this is not specified, will look for the $PILOTPORT environment variable. If both are not found or supplied, install−expenses will fall back to /dev/pilot.
−h, −−help
Display the help synopsis for memos.
−v, −−version
Display version of memos.
−V, −−verbose
Verbose, with −d, print each filename when written to disk.
−d, −−delete
Delete memo named by number <num>.
−f, −−file [file] ..
Use <file> as input file (instead of MemoDB.pdb).
−s, −−save <dir>
Save memos in <dir> instead of writing to STDOUT.
−c, −−category <cat>
Only create memos in this category.
−r, −−regex [regex]
Select memos saved by regular expression on the title.
Connect to a target Palm handheld and read/write to/from the Memo application database (MemoDB.pdb).
